A Career & Calling edition for a sample chart (Eleanor, born 14 March 1988 at 7:42 AM in Portland, Oregon), exactly as a buyer receives it: the painted cover with the real wheel, the chart page, six chapters that quote placements by degree, the birth-time note and the dated outlook.
What to look for
- The chart page. Every planet to the arc-minute, the house it falls in, and the ten tightest aspects with their orbs. That is the evidence the chapters are built from.
- Placements named in the text. "Saturn in Virgo in the 2nd house", "Mercury trine the Midheaven within about a degree". If you have your own chart, you can check each claim.
- One honest tension per chapter. A reading with no squares reads as flattery.
- The birth-time note. How many minutes the time can move before the chart changes.
- Dated transits. Month ranges and exact dates, with what the window tends to support. Nothing that says "beware".
